What We Believe

OUR BELIEFS

We believe the Bible is the inspired, infallible Word of God. We believe in One God who is infinite in power and is Holy in nature. He is Omnipotent, Omniscient and Omnipresent. God is the creator and sustainer of the universe and life.

We believe in the virgin birth, that Jesus was both human and divine, God manifested in the flesh.(Matthew 1:23; I Timothy 3:16).

We believe God is triune, three distinct essences in one God: God the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, which constitutes the Godhead.

We believe that whoever will confess with their mouth Jesus is Lord and believe in their heart God raised Him from the dead shall be saved. (Romans 10:9-10).

We believe that the gift of salvation is free, and that works and deeds is not contingent upon salvation.

(Ephesians 2:8-9).

We believe that the Holy Spirit is sent by Jesus to indwell, empower, teach, guide and comfort believers.

(Luke 12:12, Romans 8; Acts 1:7-8).

We believe that the nine gifts of the Holy Spirit are active today and did not pass away after the first century. (Luke 12:12; I Corinthians 12:4-11).

We believe in the Lord Jesus’ death, burial, and resurrection. (John 19:38-42; Matthew 28:1-10).

We believe in the return of Jesus Christ, who will come to rule as King upon the earth with the saints.

(Acts 1:9-11; Revelations 19:11-21).

We believe in baptism in the water by immersion, in the Name of the Father, Son and Holy Ghost, and in the Lord Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and the baptism of the Holy Ghost, speaking in order tongues as the Spirit gives utterance. (Acts 2:4, 38).

We believe in the five-fold ministry as mentioned in I Corinthians is still in full operation in the church today (I Corinthians 12:1-14, 17).

We believe that every Christian is called to share the good news of God. (Mark 16:15-18; Acts 1:8).
